From 18th July to 31st August 2019, you can indulge in your love of classical music with fabulous concerts in and around the city of Salzburg. The Salzburg Festival embraces great composers and authors, with opera, drama and classical concerts.

The 900-year-old Hohenwerfen Fortress sits high above the Salzach valley. It’s a great place for family fun with falconry shows and games in the courtyard that take you back to the Middle Ages. You might find there’s a knight in your family, just waiting to shine!

The rural life
Put on your hiking boots and stride out… you’ll find mountain huts, lush pastures and herdsmen on the Alpine slopes. One of the mountain huts could be a snack station where you can enjoy fresh bread, local cheeses and fresh buttermilk – perfect energy food for the rest of your walk.
